What do we have on the blog today?  A simple basic T shirt. A tee shirt with comfort, style and a truckload of options to go from fancy top to slouchy sweatshirt with fun elements like accent triangles, elbow patches, a cowl, thumb cuff and some more. But, more importantly, it fits BEAUTIFULLY!

From size 0-22 and maternity sizes, the Emily T shirt is designed to be fitted across the chest and hips with figure flattering shaping at the waist and that for me is one of the best features of this pattern.

The floral fabric used here is a Nicole Miller jersey rayon from Jo Ann fabrics. This is the jewel neckline with hemmed short sleeves. The pattern also has options for a lower scoop neckline and cuffs to finish half, elbow length or full length sleeves.

This hip length shirt has a slightly curved hemline.

This is actually an earlier version of the pattern that I made with a very stretchy jersey fabric with stretch lace overlap and did not hem. You don’t see the bunching under the arms in the final version, and the length has also been increased.
