Yay for floral leggings!! I finally jumped in and am quite loving this trend!! So I am sewing for fall with florals! all the florals!
These are the Taylor Leggings* paired with the Sydney Slouchy Raglan* both women’s PDF patterns from Laela Jeyne Patterns.
The Taylor Leggings* are well fitted leggings that can be made in 3 lengths – below knee, cropped and ankle. They also come with a full panel maternity option. The waistband is contoured rather than a regular folded waistband, providing for a flattering fit around the waist.
I have recently started hoarding florals from everywhere but especially So Sew English Fabrics from where I got this lovely floral double brushed poly. It has great stretch (over 100% horizontal) and recovery and is velvety soft to the touch. I had no trouble sewing with it either.
The Taylor leggings only have one seam along the inseam, so these come together express fast.

The Women’s Sydney Slouchy Raglan* comes with options for a regular slouchy silhouette and a swing style silhouette along with high-low hemline and a regular hemline. The pattern also includes two sleeve options, a relaxed and a slouchy sleeve, along with two neck styles – V neck and off shoulder. There’s also the hooded cowl option.
For this version, I made a slouchy silhouette with a relaxed fit 3/4th length sleeve and high-low hemline style. I used a light weight ivory and grey french terry from Cali Fabrics. I love their fabric collection and love their shipping speed even more!
