Laela Jeyne Patterns has come out with an amazing pattern – The Deluxe Charlotte, this pattern has you covered from boy shorts to capris to full length leggings, leggings with a skirt and waist bands and yoga band options and even a super cool jeggings option complete with front and back pockets and a faux fly (aff). Are you exhausted yet? okay and that’s only half of what’s in the pattern, then there’s the relaxed fit sweat pant/jogger style with pockets and waist/yoga bands and elastic cuffs in a multitude of length options. The shorts in the sweatpant style with the elastic at the cuff are really cute bubble shorts.
Marisa has as always worked extensively to perfect the fit of each style to make sure you have an all inclusive leggings pattern that addresses all your pants and legging needs 🙂 All you need is some knit fabric and you’re ready to fill your little one’s wardrobe with leggings and shorties and sweatpants and what not!
I apologize in advance for the photo overload 🙂
The fabric used is an art gallery knit from the Anna Elise collection by bari J. I am not sure why my daughter calls these here kangaroo pants lol, they are bunnies, they look like bunnies right?
I paired the leggings here with the Sammy top another one of my favorite patterns. I used fold over elastic for the neck and arm bands to make life a little easy and easy it did ’cause I finished this top in less than 30 minutes (aff).
I made another pair of leggings in knee length form this gorgeous club floral from Raspberry Creek fabrics and this is one of her favorite outfits.
For the tunic, I used the first day dress pattern by Made Everyday. I love this peplum top with the knee length leggings, its both comfortable and stylish!
Isn’t it amazing when designers add these little fun options to the pattern? I love that Marisa included a jeggings with all the pockets and the faux fly options, and here’s some action shots of our awesome PINK jeggings 😀
The jegging fabric is from JoAnn’s that I got a couple years back so I am not sure of the content but it’s got great weight and stretch. And the top is the same first day top which I made reversible in this amazing club knit from Raspberry creek fabrics.
We’re almost at the end of the post with just another style option – the sweatpant style with an elastic cuff!
And here ends my quest for a good lounge pant pattern for my little! Isn’t it adorable? The floral fabric is a cotton spandex from Girl Charlee and it’s got the perfect stretch and weight for this pattern.
What I love about this particular style is how chic they look! Because of the fit at the waist, the pockets and the gathered cuffs, they look nice enough to be worn outside and not look like jammies (which would not be a bad thing either!)
And that’s the end of the photo overload folks! I also made several shorties to go under all her twirly dresses and love how quickly they come together, you can choose to do an elsatic wasit band or a yoga knit band, the measurements for all of which are included in the pattern. We love this pattern and all its one million options. It comes in sizes 6m-14 and trim-less pattern pages. You know what’s even better? It’s on sale now for only $5.50 !?!?! and there’s a memorial day sale going on too, but not for long! hurry now and get your copy of The Deluxe Charlotte pattern and sew up a storm of leggings, shorts, jeggings and sweatpants!!
