When Linda Stafford from 421 Myers Design Studio put out a testing call for headbands, I knew I had to try them. If you’ve been following my earlier posts, you know I love to add hair accessories to my little one’s outfits. I have lost count of the number of times I have scrambled to find something around the house to match her dress just before a photoshoot lol. I have on occasion done a frantic search over the internet and put together flowers, flower crowns and even a headband but I am so thrilled to have Linda’s patterns now which include

  • Adult and Child Knot Headband
  • Elastic Headband with Tied bow
  • Non Slip Headband
  • Wired Headband

The tester pictures for all these different headband options are all so fabulous, I am so inspired to make so many more. I intend to fully make use of all these fabulous FREE patterns, maybe churn out a headband for every outfit I make? but for today I want to share pictures of this adorable Top Knot head band I made for her.

The Knot Headband has enclosed elastic in the back, and the ties close into an adorable knot. You can whip this up in under 30 min. The instructions along with pictures make for a good and easy to understand tutorial.

Headbands are such great accessories to dress up any outfit not to mention what wonderful props they make, when you’re trying to get good pictures for your blog 🙂 You’ll be seeing more of this outfit when it releases later this week but for now, don’t wait to get your hands on the free Headband patterns.

Here’s how you can get your copy of the pattern, join the 421 Myers Design Studio‘s Facebook group and look for the free patterns in the pinned post. While you’re at it, also check out some other free patterns such as Bow Ties and Bracelets that Linda offers for her group members.

If you’re going to be sewing up a storm of these headbands like me, be sure to post your creations in the group and on instagram with the tag #421Myers!

Happy Sewing!
