I am so excited to be part of the lil luxe collection‘s test team, and just finished testing two patterns for them, can I just say I love everything about being in their test team!

The Papillon shorties are a fabulous addition to your little one’s summer wardrobe. With details like the scalloped waistband and pleats, they are super quick to sew up.

This was my first test version, and I used a flocked dot cotton from JoAnn fabrics along with ric rac for the scalloped edge.

Don’t these slant pockets add style!

The pattern and the instructions for the scalloped waist band are detailed and precise, and these shorties come together without a hitch!

The pattern goes from 18m to 12 years, is layered with easy to understand instructions and accompanying illustrations.

And because I made another pair, here’s another one of the Papillon Shorties!

I paired the shorties with the Lily top from Frocks & Frolics made in linen. I adore this pattern so much, and must’ve made half a dozen tops and tunics with them, you can see my detailed review here.

And that’s a wrap for today 🙂
