Hi friends,

I have some exciting things to share with you but first, I am so thrilled to be on the make it wear it series on the itch to stitch blog today. It was a blast dreaming up this outfit, finding the perfect fabrics that fit my vision, and then pairing it with other itch to stitch makes from my wardrobe.

I am writing this post while sitting at my parent’s home in India and these pictures bring such a big smile to my face. While I was making the Emily culottes and Vienna Tank for this blog post, I happened to tell my husband that as much as I love my good old stone wall, I wish there was some place more interesting where we could take pictures of this outfit. That weekend, he took me to this absolutely picturesque trail with the little bridge, the winding road and that solitary bench all asking to be in the picture. So obviously we took loads of pictures. Every time I look at these pictures, I’m reminded of my husband’s thoughtfulness, and the sound of my kids laughter and their noisy footsteps running across the bridge and it all just makes me so happy!

Another thing that’s making me immensely happy is this vacation. We’ve been planning for it since the beginning of the year and I can’t believe I am actually finally here 🙂 I’ll have to blog all about what I packed and how my sewing and travel plans aligned on another day but today, you can read all about this outfit, and see more pictures of this little bridge here.

If you’re interested in winning a free itch to stitch pattern of your choice, you can head to my instagram account and enter the giveaway on my Emily Culottes post! Good luck and Happy Sewing!

  1. Love ITS patterns but especially love your make it wear it outfit. I have the Vienna tank pattern and your beautiful white one has inspired me to make another just like it.
