I am so happy to share my Taktsang Dolman wrap with you today. If you haven’t already heard, this is the second pattern from Kennis’s new book  SEW BEAUTIFUL: MAKE STYLISH HANDMADE CLOTHING WITH SIMPLE STITCH-AND-WEAR PATTERNS. The book is available for preorder on Amazon here and will be released on Dec 8, 2020.

The Taktsang wrap is designed for woven fabric with or without stretch. As soon as I saw the design, I knew I wanted a thick warm wool jacket to wrap myself in during the cold months and this pattern couldn’t have come at a better time. I used a lurex wool blend coating from Minerva fabrics for my wrap. You can read more about my wool wrap and see more pictures over at Minerva. I love how interactive and inspiring the new platform is.
